Detaljer

Dr. Scholl's™ Ingrown Toenail Pain Relief Strips are clinically tested to provide up to 12 hours of comfort by cushioning the toe and easing pressure, and are designed to reduce the discomfort of an ingrown toenail. The elevated ridge sits in the groove between the toenail and the tender skin, while the soft pad gives all-day cushioning, reduces irritation along the nail border and helps relieve discomfort caused by pressure from footwear, so walking is more comfortable. To use, thoroughly cleanse and dry the toenail, peel open the pouch, tear along the serrated line to partially remove the shorter side from the release paper, position the ridge in the nail groove and gently wrap the tape around the toe, then remove the rest of the release paper, place the longer end of the pad over the toenail and wrap the tape to secure it, leaving a space at the base of the nail. Remove the strip before going to bed and reapply every morning after a shower or bath. Pack Contents 6 pain relief strips. Safety Warning Excessive force during application may cause toenail pain or discomfort. The plaster is not waterproof and should be removed before showering and swimming. If the toenail develops an infection, consult your healthcare professional. If you have diabetes or poor blood circulation, seek advice from a healthcare professional before use.

Ofte stillede spørgsmål

How do Ingrown Toenail Pain Relief Strips work?

They are clinically tested to provide up to 12 hours of comfort by cushioning the toe and easing pressure. The elevated ridge sits in the groove between the toenail and the tender skin, and the soft pad reduces irritation along the nail border.

When should I remove and reapply the strip?

Remove the strip before going to bed and reapply every morning after a shower or bath.

Are the strips waterproof?

No. The plaster is not waterproof, so remove it before showering and swimming.

How do I apply it without discomfort?

Cleanse and dry the toenail first, then wrap the tape gently around the toe. Allow a space between the strip and the skin at the base of the nail, as excessive force during application may cause toenail pain or discomfort. If the toenail develops an infection, consult your healthcare professional.

Sådan bruges det

  1. Thoroughly cleanse and dry the toenail prior to application.
  2. Carefully peel open the paper pouch to reveal the ingrown toenail bandage.
  3. Identify the end of the soft pad that is shorter in length from the elevated ridge. Carefully tear along the serrated line to partially remove this side of the plaster from the release paper.
  4. Position the elevated ridge in the groove between the toenail and the tender skin, ensuring the shorter end of the soft pad covers the tender skin. Gently wrap this side of the tape around the toe to secure the strip in place. Allow a space between the strip and the skin at the base of the nail.
  5. Remove the remaining release paper and place the longer end of the soft pad over the toenail, keeping the elevated ridge correctly positioned.
  6. Gently wrap the tape around the toe to fully secure the strip, again allowing a space between the strip and the skin at the nail base.
  7. Remove the strip prior to going to bed and reapply every morning after a shower or bath.
