AAA/LR03 Alkaline Battery Information
Information for the AAA/LR03 alkaline non-rechargeable batteries supplied with the Dr. Scholl’s Mini Electronic Foot File, model MP6615, in accordance with applicable EU battery information requirements.

The battery is an alkaline zinc-manganese battery. The battery is free of mercury, cadmium and lead.

Potassium hydroxide electrolyte is present inside the sealed battery. If a battery leaks, avoid skin and eye contact with leaked material.

4. Safe use, replacement and storage
- To install the batteries, twist open the battery cover counterclockwise and pull to remove the cover.
- Insert each battery correctly according to the + and – polarity markings in the battery compartment.
- Replace all four batteries at the same time using new batteries of the same type and brand.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types or brands.
- Do not recharge, short-circuit, disassemble, heat or dispose of batteries in fire.
- Remove exhausted batteries promptly.
- Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
- Keep batteries out of reach of children. Children should not replace batteries without adult supervision.
- Clean the battery contacts and the equipment contacts before inserting batteries.
- Close the compartment cover by lining up the symbols, pushing in and rotating clockwise until secure.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries. Used batteries must be recycled or disposed of correctly.
- If a battery leaks, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and rinse any affected area with plenty of clean water. Seek medical advice if irritation or exposure persists.
5. Labels and symbols

6. End-of-life and recycling
According to local laws and regulations your product and/or its battery must be disposed of separately from household waste.
When the battery has reached its end of its life, take it to a collection point designed by local authorities.
End-users help prevent waste and environmental harm by using batteries correctly, removing exhausted batteries promptly and returning waste batteries to suitable collection routes.
- Remove the batteries from the appliance before disposing of the appliance.
- Do not place used batteries in household waste.
- Return used batteries to designated battery collection bins, retailer take-back points or local recycling facilities.
- Follow your local regulations for the separate collection and disposal of electrical products and batteries.
Incorrect disposal may lead to leakage or release of battery substances.
